TotalPDA's Rising Stars

2005 has been a year of accolades for TotalPDA. Named as the fastest growing technology company in Scotland by the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 in September, and now receiving the prestigious Rising Star Award from the Deloitte Fast 50, the Glasgow based firm is on the way up.

The online retailer has grown over 1399% in its first three years by specialising in the expanding markets of GPS systems and PDAs. TotalPDA were at the forefront of mobile navigation’s introduction to the UK, and as a result have now established themselves as market leaders.

Employing 33 staff at their premises in Cardonald Business Park, Mark Antliff, the Managing Director, attributes his company’s success to his strong team as well as to the products themselves. His dedicated Sales team are trained on the products that they sell, allowing them to tell the truth to customers, while his experienced technical advisors have both the knowledge and the equipment to work quickly and efficiently.

"This sector has really taken off in the last 12 months," said Mark Antliff. "Improving technology means PDA and GPS systems are within the reach of ordinary drivers."

He said: "We are absolutely dedicated to finding the right mobile communications solution for our clients. Organisations and businesses have so many people out of the office at any one time that it is very difficult to retain them as an effective part of the team.
