i-mate launches new enterprise software solution: the i-mate Suite at 3GSM

i-mate, the specialists in Microsoft Windows Mobile devices and applications today announces the launch of the i-mate Suite, a complete enterprise solution that meets demand for greater device mobility, security and backup capabilities.

The new i-mate Suite enables enterprises of all sizes to equip their staff with easy-touse Windows Mobile devices, secure in the knowledge that they can safely extend their corporate network beyond the office.

i-mate Suite consists of three modules that enable businesses to be truly mobile without losing control of either security or data.

i-mate 1-View enables access to the corporate network and files, expands Windows Mobile device storage, and provides document, data and file sharing.

i-mate Control empowers enterprises to safeguard data, remotely configure or troubleshoot devices, automatically update all devices in the filed and remotely customize devices.

i-mate Backup provides full remote wireless data backup, the capability to define backup policies and schedules and restore Windows Mobile devices.

The i-mate JAMin comes in the same compact form as the award winning i-mate JAM but houses significant improvements including Quad-band GPRS/EDGE capability, lightning-fast Wi-Fi built in, a 2.0 mega pixel camera, and all the latest Windows Mobile 5.0 tools.

i-mate will also be previewing the yet to be released i-mate Smartflip, the world’s slimmest Window Mobile-based powered clamshell phone.
