Information for the media

The TotalPDA logo may be used by any Total PDA approved affiliate/party. There is no charge for the use of the logo although TotalPDA requires anyone using the logo to comply with certain use and disclosure guidelines. These guidelines are outlined below. Appropriate Logo Format
Electronic files containing the logo are available from TotalPDA and are the only versions that should be used. The logo with the tagline should be used only if the image is reproduced in a size such that the tagline is legible. The logo should be in colour whenever possible. The colours of the logo may not be altered under any circumstance (except that the logo may be reproduced in greyscale).

Alterations
Do not make any alterations to the logo. Do not crop the logo or add additional elements. The logo should not be placed at an angle. The words should be horizontal. The proportions of the logo should not be changed. It may be enlarged or reduced but not "stretched" in either dimension. The minimum size is one inch in width.

Backgrounds
If the logo appears on a coloured background, it must be placed inside a white box with a minimum of 5 pixels of padding between the elements and the bounding box. The logo should not appear either over or under a text layer.

Licensing and Other Regulated Commercial Use
Any commercial use of the TotalPDA logo, including but not limited to garments, films, publications, World Wide Web pages, the Internet, jewellery, etc., is not permissible without prior written approval from TotalPDA. TotalPDA may withhold this approval with its sole discretion. TotalPDA approval for one specific use does not in any way imply approval for any other use, even if only small changes in usage or minor extensions of time of use are contemplated. If there is any reasonable doubt as to whether or not a use is commercial, it must be assumed that the use is commercial.

Other Use
Any other use of the TotalPDA’s name or trade or service marks not specifically referenced here shall be by prior written approval only.

Unauthorized Use
It is requested that any member who observes at any time the use of the logo or TotalPDA’s name which appears not to be in conformity with these guidelines, notify TotalPDA immediately. The company's policy is to carefully control the use of logos, name and trademarks to avoid confusion and improper and unauthorized commercial or non-commercial trading upon TotalPDA's reputation. Violations of TotalPDA's trademark rights will be actively prosecuted.
